Insurance & Reimbursement

Assert Your Boundaries Counseling is a private pay practice. I can provide a superbill (detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Ask about your deductible and reimbursement percentage
Request a superbill after each session to submit for reimbursement

Good Faith Estimate

Under federal law (No Surprises Act), you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.

You can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Receive an itemized list of expected charges
Dispute bills that significantly exceed the estimate
